Start Here

You're not broken. Your plan just wasn't built for your real life.

If you've found yourself here, I'm guessing you've tried to make running — or eating better, or both — work before. Maybe more than once.

You laced up. You committed. You did well for a week or two. And then life happened, the routine fell apart, and somewhere between the guilt and the frustration, you told yourself you'd start over Monday.

But Monday keeps moving.

Here's what I want you to know before you read another word: that cycle is not a character flaw. It's a design problem. The plans you've been given weren't built around the reality of your life — a full schedule, real demands, not enough hours, and a body that needs to be fueled not punished.

That's the only thing I do differently here. I build plans that fit real lives.

Who I Am

I'm BK — Brittany Kellogg — and I'm a running, strength, and nutrition coach based in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Running didn't start as a career for me. It started as escape.

In late 2019 and into 2020, I went through one of the hardest stretches of my life mentally. Running was the one thing I could afford — in money, in time, in emotional capacity. I wasn't thinking about pace or form or what I looked like. I wasn't thinking about anything, really. That was the whole point. I just needed somewhere to put it all, and running gave me that.

So I just kept going.

Over time, I got deeper into the running community. I started to actually care about the sport — even though I'd been a genuinely terrible cross country runner in middle school, even though I didn't look like the people around me in races and on trails and in running spaces. That gap between who I was and who I thought a runner was supposed to be became something I noticed, and then something I quietly decided didn't disqualify me.

I kept going anyway. And somewhere in that stubbornness, I found something I didn't expect to find: a version of myself I actually liked.

Eventually I got certified in running, strength, and nutrition coaching — because I wanted to understand the whole picture. Because how you fuel directly changes how running feels. Because the woman who skips breakfast and wonders why her 6am run felt awful isn't weak — she's just under-informed. And because the confidence that comes from doing both consistently, inside a real life, carries into everything else.

The moment I knew I wanted to do this as my life's work was the first time I helped another woman see herself as a capable runner. Watched her realize she could do this — not despite her full schedule, her imperfect routine, her body that didn't look like the ones in running ads — but with all of it, exactly as it was.

That's a moment I couldn't unknow.

I also still work a full-time job in logistics. Which means I'm not coaching you from a place of unlimited time and a perfectly curated morning. I'm coaching you from inside the same kind of full, complicated, beautiful, exhausting life you're navigating — and I know firsthand what it takes to build something real around real constraints.

Who This Is For

You're in the right place if:

You want to run — or run again — but every plan you've tried has fallen apart by week three, you've burned out before, or you don't quite see yourself as a runner yet. (You don't have to look the part to be the part. I promise you that.)

You're eating less than you should, skipping breakfast, grabbing whatever's fastest at lunch, and wondering why your energy crashes and your runs feel harder than they should. You're not looking for a diet. You're looking for a way to eat that actually works with your real life.

You're a woman with a career, a family, people depending on you — and somewhere in the middle of all of it, you want something that's yours. A routine. A goal. Proof that you can show up for yourself consistently even when everything else is demanding your attention.

You want to expand what you're capable of — not shrink yourself to fit a program.

You Don't Need More Information

The internet has unlimited running plans. Unlimited nutrition advice. Unlimited content telling you what to eat, how fast to run, and how to be better.

You don't need more of that.

What you need is a starting point that's honest about where you actually are. A plan designed around your actual schedule. And someone who's going to tell you the truth — including the part where going slower is the strategy, not the failure, and missing one run is a rest day, not a reason to start over.

That's what everything at Foundation Fitness Co. is built around.

What I Believe

I don't believe in earning your food.

I don't believe in punishment disguised as workouts.

I don't believe that missing a run means you failed, or that you need to look a certain way to call yourself a runner.

I believe a good week is one where you showed up more days than you didn't. I believe fueling your body is the most underrated tool most women have access to and never use. And I believe the confidence you build from doing both — consistently, imperfectly, inside your real life — is the kind that stays.

That's the foundation. Everything here is built on it.

Welcome. I'm really glad you're here.
